E-Coat

The name "E-Coat" is an abbreviation of Electrophoretic Coating. E-Coat is an emulsion of organic resins and de-ionized water, which is in a stable aqueous solution. The E-Coat solution is comprised of some solvent and ionic components. When a D.C. voltage is applied across two immersed electrodes, a passage of current is accompanied by the electrolysis of water. This results in oxygen gas being liberated at the anode (positive charge) and hydrogen gas liberated at the cathode (negative charge). E-Coat is one of the most rapidly growing trends in the surface finishing industry with advantages in both cost and corrosion resistance over most other finishes.

With our extensive experience in contact tip design and thorough understanding of the e-coat process, Dietsch Tattershall Products will design a tip that is perfectly suited for your part and application.  Our contact tips are manufactured from either spring hard 316 stainless steel, stainless steel or mild steel as they maintain tension and withstand repeated production cycles.
