Powder Coating
Powder coating is the process of coating a metallic or non-metallic surface with a specially formulated powder material using electrostatic equipment or compressed air methods. The specially formulated powder is cured via heating to its melting point, where it flows and fuses to form a durable film. The powder coated finish is very durable and is resistant to scratches, peeling, cracking and corrosion.
Powder Coating Racks
Dietsch Tattershall Products design powder and paint racks to maximise
painting quality, hold the maximum number of parts within the available
part envelope and facilitate efficient part loading and unloading.
The type of painting system in which the rack is to be utilised (powder
coating, electrostatic, spray, flow coating or dip) is the
primary factor in the rack design. Other factors include the part
holding method, conveyor type, furnace temperatures, and part weight.
Part holding or contact tip design is critical to the quality paint
application. With our extensive experience in contact tip design and
thorough understanding of the various painting methods, Dietsch
Tattershall Products will design a tip that is perfectly suited for your
part and application. Our contact tips
are manufactured from spring hard 316 stainless steel (unless advised
otherwise), as they maintain
tension and stand up to repeated stripping or burn-off cycles.
